Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Georgia

When a person has had a legal consultation with a particular law firm and that particular law firm ends up representing the opponent of the personal who originally had consultation - is this considered conflict of interest? If so, can the case be thrown out?

Because you asked this as a broad hypothetical rather than giving exact facts, you won't get an answer. Without knowing what the original consultation was, the nature of the case, etc. there is no way to say yes or no. Regardless, you don't get to complain after the result. The remedy if it is an ethics violation is to seek disqualification of counsel, not toss the case. If you have an actual question with actual facts, feel free to ask it.
