Withholding money in Escrow for legal fee

Does my attorney have the right to keep the money she was ordered to hold in her Iolta Account from the sale of my house, to pay for attorney fees when the Judge ordered that I receive that money from the Escrow in my divorce held in an Iolta Account?

Generally, lawyers are allowed to deduct fees from a distribution. Beyond that, questions should be directed to your lawyer as any specific response should come from him/her, and is based upon the specific facts.
