Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Georgia

My husband has to have a crown replaced because our current dentist says it was not fit properly, which has led to some other painful problems. We have moved 30 miles and changed dentists since the crown was fit originally and it's too soon for our insurance to pay for a new one. That leaves us stuck with a bill for $1,000 from the 2nd dentist. How can we get the 1st dentist to pitch in on the cost of replacing the bad crown?

You probably screwed up badly by not going back to teh original dentist. 30 miles is not far. He should have and probably would have redone the work.

You could try suing the first dentist, but sionce you failed to allow him a chance to fix things and thus acted unreasonably, you probably have a weak case absent compelling reasons other than distance to change dentists.
