Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Georgia
Medical Insurance verifacation
A chiropractor said they took my insurance then after all the sessions they said my insurance wouldnt cover it and sent me the bill. I would have never gone there if the doctors office notified me they do not take my insurance. Can they do this or is it a law that they have to notify me that they take my insurance? They also charged me a co pay?

Insurance is a contract between you and the insurer. It is almost always your primary responsibility to see if your insurance covers the treatment. You should always check with your insurer rather that rely on someone else doing it.
