Typically the malpractice defense is paid for by an insurance company subject to the terms of the contract. The contract most likely has a "budget".
Either way, what does this have to do with your malpractice Plaintiff's case? And better yet, why aren't you asking your lawyer this question. You DO have a lawyer, right?
If you don't, your claim will fail. Then you'll come back here and cry that the legal system is rigged.
