Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Georgia
I'm an RN accused of drinking on the job. I admitted to the HR director that I had been drinking a few hours prior to work because I considered her a friend. She is reporting me to the Board of Nursing. Can I deny what I previously admitted to her? I was never tested and have told no one else. My license is much more important to me than this job.

You have just asked a lawyer if you can commit a crime, perjury, by lying to the State Board.
Of course not, and if you do it you belong in prison and deserve to lose your license.
Abandon your criminal plans.
Had you actually been drinking? A few hours before? How long before? What did you drink? These are all questions a good attorney needs to ask you. Consult with one.
Sometimes one will need to lie, cheat and steal to get ahead. It happens all the time. Contact the "correct" lawyer. You know, the ones only the rich and famous have access to.
Good luck!
