Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Georgia
My sister passed away in a nearby hospital. She was admitted because she was swelling all over. After a few days there hospital called and told her son she had a hearta attack When I got to the hospital she was in the ccu unit The nurse there told me she had brain damage due to lack of oxygen. She also said that nurses on the floor had thought that my sister unhooked her monitor. I do not think the hospital staff checked on my sister as soon as she flat lined. Is this a case of wrongful death or negligence?

I am sorry for your loss, but as far as wanting a conclusion about a case, you state no real facts and a malpractice case is certainly not built on a couple of sentences. A case is not built on what you think might have happened, or what someone told you someone else thought may have happened. It takes the expert opinion of a medical professional, based on a full review of all relevant facts and information, including a review of all medical procedures, charts, etc.. If you really believe there has been negligence you can see a lawyer in your area who mainly practices in this area to discuss. It is not something for a message board.
I'm sorry for your loss but there is no way to answer you with a detailed review of the medical records by a medical expert. You will want to see an attorney as soon as possible to review the details.
