Legal Question in Military Law in Georgia

bad company

2 friends and I took a road trip to atlanta and in the course of doing so they missed their staff duty assignment the next day. When we got back to base we were asked if we did any drugs. One of them admitted to it and both my friends recieved a urinalysis. I was allowed to go because i belonged to a different unit but the NCOIC said he would call my unit and tell them what i was involved in. I had aspirations to go to the Old Guard at Ft. Myers, VA and I need to know if they can take that away from me and what else may happen because my friends 'pissed dirty'. I had heard that the militarty is different as far as all the 'guilt by association' factor goes. What should i do when i get back from christmas break?

Re: bad company

1. You will likely be tested on a UA when you get back from leave.

2. Make NO statements to ANYONE about this situation.

3. Stay away from this "friends" or others of them.

4. Be careful of CID "Pretext" phone-calls, or people "suddenly interested" in your activities.

5. Yes, there are rules in military law about "guilt by association" and "mere presence" at the scene of a crime.
