Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia
1 year ago i was in a car crash. the police came and asked the people in the other car if they were hurt and if they needed a ambulance. they said the were fine. their car only received a small scratch while mine was completely destroyed from the front right side. i got a letter 2 days ago saying i had to pay her $75,000 for compensation because she went to the doctor 2 months ago because she had lumbar epidural steroid injections. my insurance company offered her $2,500 but she rejected it. at this point i don't know what to do.

You should already be communicating with your insurance company about this. If the other party sues, they should retain a lawyer and defend the suit. If a lawsuit is not filed, you likely don't need to do anything other than communicating with your insurer and providing them with whatever information they request. People can ask for anything in a letter.
Since you have insurance, your insurer will provide an attorney to defend the claim. That said, depending upon the coverage limit you purchased, you could end up with liability for damages above and beyond your insurance coverage. You have the right to retain your own lawyer. It may be advisable to get a case evaluation to determine your potential exposure.

Best of luck,
Since you have insurance, you should not worry too much. They have an obligation to defend you. Call them, and also give them the copy of what you received.
Your only risk is if a claim happens which is larger than your coverage. In that case you might need your own lawyer. But usually the insurer will take care of things for you.
