Unfortunately, airbag litigation is extremely costly and attorneys will not take the case unless there are very serious injuries (paralyzed) or death. Most people don't know that a computer analyzes point of impact, speed, etc. in fractions of a second before it decides whether to release the airbag. You would need to hire an expert to inspect the vehicle and 9/10 times the computer was in working order.

On a side, was the accident your fault? If the other driver was at fault, you can still recover for your injuries.

If the other driver was at fault, then their insurance company is responsible for properly compensating you for your vehicle damage and any personal injuries that you may have. At this point, you should call an attorney to contact the negligent drivers insurance company to recover compensation on your behalf.

Additional information will be needed to assess your particular case (such as whether there was a ticket given and a police report of the accident) - however, do not post the specifics on this, or ANY other, public website.

Please feel free to call my Atlanta office for free consultation. [404.496.4119] Good luck.
