Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

I had an Auto accident in 2006. I haggled with the Ins. Co. for yrs. They sent me a low ball check

in 2007 which I did not cash. I was informed that the statute of limitation is 4 yrs. which passed in Feb. 2010. Do I have any recourse, can I get them to reissue the check? Please advise.

The statute of limitations in Georgia car wrecks is 2 years. If the facts are as you posted, you now get zero. Next time you have a legal matter, get a lawyer and you'll avoid such mistakes.
