When a court ordered settlement is recieved, dose the awardee pay all taxes, then pay attorney fees, or does the court pay the fee to the attorney directly from proceeds, leaving the attorney to pay the taxes?

No one knows the fee agreement with the lawyer, and you failed to provide that most basic information. Why would the court pay anyone anything? You also leave us to guess what taxes you refer to. Your post makes little sense. Easy solution - ask your lawyer.

Your question as asked in unanswerable. You did not indicate what type of settlement it is, and some are taxable and some are not. And additionally, very rarely does a court pay anything to anyone.

It would help if you'd ask the actual question you actually have (and explain why you are not asking your lawyer who already should have discussed this with you) with real facts, as no one can answer your post.
