Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

defamation

can a person sue a person for spreading malicious lies? this is going on at work; a fellow employee is going around stating another employee keyed her car. even though everyone knows she's lying, this is my husband she's spreading lies about, and i for one do not appreciate it at all.

Re: defamation

Getting to the practical issue, how would your husband's daily life at work be better if he sued another employee? You said that no one believed her.
