I recently took a job with a local Sears store. When I began to get paid cash without witholdings I questioned the owner. He then terminated me. Do I have any redress?

Probably not as far as the firing is concerned; GA is a "hire and fire at will" state. As to the failure to withhold, if it is worth your time and trouble you might consider whistle-blowing to the appropriate authority but I have no idea where to tell you to go. You will have to slog through that on your own.
