Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia
Fighting
There was a party-There was drink of minors supplied by an adult. Eight guys jumped on one guy in a Fight - one guy got knifed. He was treated for injury. Guy they blamed it on was arrested for Aggravative Assult(court Dec 10) and giving his side of story. He had no knife and seen no knife but it was dark and there was 9 guy in the fight. Now the detective wants the guy charged to come back for more questioning and possible more charges. Does he go talk to the detective more? Let them arrest him at his home if there are more charge? Or what should he do?

GET AN ATTORNEY WHO PRACTICES CRIMINAL LAW! I would never reccommend that anyone facing criminal charges be interviewed without having their attorney present. If there are going to be more charges filed, the accused's attorney may be able to arrange a less dramatic arrest.
I was a Public Defender in SC for 5 years, and I agree with the other response posted regarding self-incrimination.

I think you are in the wrong database, but I will answer your question anyway. In my years, I have been both a Prosecutor and a Criminal Defense atty. Now all of my cases are about real estate (thank you, God). DO NOT go talk to the Detective!!!
When I was prosecuting and at other times defending, do you know where we got MOST of our incriminating information??? From the mouth of the accused. Everything they (you) say can AND WILL be used against you. Run, don't walk, to Hire a lawyer. Any criminal defense lawyer -- good, bad or indifferent. Then shut up and tell the Detective to talk to your lawyer.
