Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

I was hit in the parking lot of my work by a commercial truck. The truck pulled in the parking lot in front of me and went over to the far left side I continued on (He had no signal on). He came around and hit my car on the drivers side read quarter panel and bumper with his front corner passenger side. (He stated he was going to back into a parking spot.) The police were called and the report states he is at fault. I am concerned about the private property rule and if I should pursue his insurance company or business to pay for damages. His car had no damages my car has moderate damages

I don't know what you mean by private property rule, but if he's insured and you have no injuries and just property damage, make a claim to his insurer.
