Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

my husband and i were in a fender bender. not at fault. took car to have bumper repaired and the body shop left trunk open during a rain storm and the computer fried. now our car has been condemned. what can we do?

I would start by making a claim against the repair shop and its insurer. If that did not work you should then make a claim against your own auto insurance company under the comprehensive coverage under your own auto insurance policy. You would have to eat the deductible but your insurer would then, in turn, make a claim over and against the repair shop and if successful would reimburse you for the deductible. Be sure to report this event to your own insurer ASAP.
