Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

my husband was hit by a drunk driver. it totaled our truck 89 ford pu. he hurt his shoulder but dr said pulled a muscle. He went 2 weeks without a word from the other guy or his insurance. they were ugly about it to shart with. our brother in law in a lawyer and has handled it for us. he agreed to accept $2500.00 total for this accident. does that sound fair? we are not really in a position to have to purchase another pu at this time but we will have to.

There is no way that someone online can evaluate a case where we have not seen the medicals, police report, etc. Since you have a lawyer your lawyer will need to answer such questions.
