Pedestrian's can usually obtain mpc coverage for medical bills when injured through the car that struck them if it has the coverage or their own car if they have one. A person can also qualify as a resident relative if they reside in a home with someone who has medical coverage. You must read the policy at issue to make this determination. Consider contacting the insurer for the car that struck you and seek to obtain the policy, which can be done through ocga sec.33-2-28.
