Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia
we were in Oxford, Alabama at a hotel for the night. My husband forgot some clothes in our friends car and went out to get them, He looked in the car and there was s guy in the back seat and he jumped out the back hatch. My husband chased him all over the parking lot trying to get what was stolen back, the guys girlfriend tryed to run him over with her car and hit my husband with her door after he dove out of the way. We called the police and they came and took all the information down about what was stolen, we told him about the girl trying to run my husband over with a car and he said he couldnt do anything about it. what can i do?

You leave out a lot of the story. The police certainly said more than that, and probably gave a reason, but you decided to leave that part out. Why? Second, and perhaps more importantly, what are the names and/or tag numbers of the people who did it? If you don't have that (again, more missing info), how exactly do you think you can do anything? Finally, assuming you live in Georgia, what is it worth for you in time, trouble and expense to pursue anything? People who do that are not likely to have wages to garnish and bank accounts to attach even if you did spend a few months getting a judgment (if you even knew who they are).
Scott is right
Hire an Alabama attorney if you think these people have money, you can be certain who they are and if you want to spend a lot of time in Alabam courts, etc
Good luck
