Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

I had a pharmacy issue me two different medications for the same thing at the same dosage for about 5 months and I didn't know until I asked them about the meds, and they advised me that they should not have given me both that is was dangerous for me to be taking both together. Why did they not catch this and do I have a case?

You left out the main fact needed to answer you. Were you actually harmed, and if so, what was the harm? You can't sue for what might have happened.

I had the same thing happen in a case I successfully litigated a few years back. The answer is "yes." There has to be an injury or potential for injury. Very often the injury from such a drug mix-up does not manifest itself for months or even years. I would be better able to give you a definitive answer if I knew what the medications were.

If you want to know if you may suffer harm in the future (beyond looking for a lawsuit and a check), you should have already seen a DOCTOR to make sure you are OK (a different one than prescribed the two medications). Presumably, your personal welfare was the most important thing. If you have suffered no real harm, but want to collect anyway, you can no doubt find a lawyer to assist.
