Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia
My roommate accidentally burnt my apt building down by falling asleep with a candle lit and when i returned there was nothing left but rubble can i sue her for the property damage i had furniture laptop i lost the security deposit that i put all the money up for clothing and money from bills that i had to cancel the service for my problem now is that after the apt burned down she graduated from school and i haven't seen or heard from her i had pictures on my phone of the lost apt which were lost with the phone and have no proof other than the fire statement from the fire department stating the reason for the fire was negligence how do i get her to pay me back and how long is the statute of limitations for suing her

Sue her. The Statute of Limitations is two years.
