If you slipped and injured yourself at a business in the State of Georgia, but actually live in California, which state do you need to retain an attorney from?

In order to file a suit in the Courts of Georgia you will either have to retain an Attorney admitted to the Georgia Bar or retain a California Attorney who will have to associate local counsel.

Your best bet would be to hire Georgia counsel. If you hire someone from California, he is going to have to retain local counsel in Georgia.
