Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

Help!!! The statue of limitation is almost out

The statue of limitation on a car accident in Ga is up on Aug 13, 2006 And our Lawyer just droped us. He did not do the paper work and now we can't find another lawyer at this time can you recomend some one? Or can you tell us what paper work we need to file our case on our own behalf? and where we can get the paper work from?

A lawyer cannot tell you how to file a lawsuit over the web, with no knowledge of the facts (or even with some knowledge of the facts). You need to sit down with someone. You have a few days, and if a PI lawyer thinks you have case they will meet with you on a day or so notice and take care of a filing. Call friends, relatives and get recommendations. Call the State Bar of Georgia and ask about their referral service, and call the county bar association. You did not post your location (except a ZIP), which may have helped.
