My mother passed away in a terrible accident on 7/25/02 there was a terrible fire and the trailer exploded. fire reports states fire caused by short in air conditioning. At the time of this accident she was living on my uncles property waiting for her house to be built.Do i have a case against my uncle?

Re: Trailer Explosion
You need to have the explosion investigated to determine the cause and see if there is any connection to carelessness by your uncle. It also could have been a defective product in the trailer. It has been over 4 months since your loss and the trail may be difficult to assess. Have you had any attorneys check into the matter yet?
Re: Trailer Explosion
First, please accept my condolances.I recall that a similar question was asked recently on this site. Was that yours ,too? In any event, trailers don't just blow up.I have handled a number of fire/explosion cases and a short may very well produce a spark which ignites the explosion. The real culprit is the flammable material. Was there a propane tank or bar-b-que grill around? How about a gas line? This should have been investigated by the fire department, police and medical examiner.Reports should have been prepared by government agencies that at least document your mother's death and the circumstances surrounding her death.Once I see some of those reports (and maybe do some investigation myself ) I will be in a better position to tell you who was at fault in your mother's death. But -make no mistake about this- some person or persons would be at fault.A death by explosion/fire does not happen without somebody having done something wrong.
