Legal Question in Product Liability in Georgia
Hi, I am in the process of starting a small business of selling mei tai style baby carriers. Is there something I could do to prevent anyone from suing me for not using the product properly? What sort of attorney would I need to see to help me with the legalities? Thank you so much!

If you sell products, you need to carry massive amounts of liability insurance to deal with possible cases against you, as you cannot prevent suits. For that see an insurance agent specializing in commercial insurance.
You may also want a lawyer to set up the business in a way that at least shields your personal assets. Additionally you will want a lawyer that negotiates indemnification agreements from each of your suppliers. Look for an attorney with a commerical/business law practice.
