Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
2 weeks ago I agreed to purchase a home which will be used as a rental for investment purposes. The property is in Florida. I am a Georgia resident.
I left a deposit of $5,000.00 as earnest money. Yesterday, 1-19-2018, the papers were emailed to me to doc-u-sign. I overnighted the originals to the closing office. We wired secured funds of $59,000.00. The funds have been received , also the closing paperwork.
Is there any way to back upt of the transaction? if so, how much money will I forfeit?

Most contracts do NOT have an out. Likely you can be made to follow through and it is unlikely the seller is going to give you money back. Sounds like you bought a home. (The only for sure answer is to show the contract to a lawyer, but I am doubtful this answer would change).
