Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

My 80 year old mother who lives in Georgia has allowed her grandaughter and her family to move in until they find another residence. They have been there since August 09 and have recked the house. One of her great grandsons who lives there and is 17 years old has been verbally and physically abusive toward my mother. What steps should I take to get them out of the house so she will not live in fear? I am planning on giving them a week to get the house in repair and leave or I will have the police remove them. Is this legal?

Is this your house, or do you have a power of attorney or guardianship over your mother? If not, and you try to call the police or take other action, you might be the one asked to leave or face trespass charges.
