How do i add my wife to my deed?

I want to add my wife to the deed to the house. i recently

got married and want to add her. What form is the correct one to submit? Thanks Michael

Oridinarily, I would say that you just execute a Quitlaim Deed to you and her. However, if you have a mortgage on the property, you must get approval of the lender to do so. If you have any questions, feel free to call me.

Normally, you would just use a Quit Claim Deed and name both yourself and your wife as grantees. There are several forms of ownership in Georgia so based on your situation you would choose one of these, the most common being as tenants in common and joint tenancy with right of survivorship. You would need to execute properly and file with the Clerk of Superior Court and include the green transfer tax form.
