Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Agreement

we purchased a mobile home in and we signed a piece of paper trading our window air conditioner we had just purchased for exchange for the unit to be put in the home, the people would pick it up when the installed the new one, they fail to do after about 4 1/2 months of keeping it I gave it to my mom not thinking about 6 months of waiting for some furnishings to arrive, it came yesterday and she ask to pick up the air unit upon delivery of it I told her I had given it to my mom and I could not ask for it back, she stated that she had to have the unit. I said that I could possibly reimburse them, but then I thought about how i had stored this things for almost 6 mos, and not a word from them, not mention how long it took them to replace my damage dining set. I called her almost weekly and she didn't say a word about the unit and I want to know if I am obligated and can I ask for storage fee and how much is allowed by Georgia law, whether it daily or weekly. The whole loan process were a little shady and I will agree that our credit wasn't the best so we and I mean the sellers to took some back door method.

Re: Agreement

It depends entirely upon the written agreement you signed. However, 6 months does sound very long.
