Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
Can an apartment complex sue me for damages only? Even after they took my $700 dollar deposit and still say I owe $800!!! There was 4 of us living there. I live in GA, and I just don't want to get sued. I am umeployed and cannot afford that, and the others arent willing to help. I will eventually pay, just can't right now.

If several people sign a lease, as the lease clearly will state, you are jointly and severally liable. That means they can sue you for the whole thing.
If you owe a lot of debt you may want to talk to a bankruptcy attorney (I handle such cases in your county) to see if that is a good way out of this and other obligations. Feel free to contact me with details.
