apartment leasing
I signed and submitted an application to lease an apartment. On the application it states that if my app is approved and I pay a deposit, and after that i change my mind I can't receive my deposit back. Is this legal?

It is generally "legal" for adults to enter contracts and be bound by the terms. If a person does not want to risk their deposit (or otherwise comply with the agreements they willingly make), they should not sign the contract.
