Those are negotiable items that should be addressed in the contract. On the appraisal, typically the purchaser pays. On the attorney, the seller typically pays for that portion that relates to the title insurance, preparation of the deed, and preparation of the release of lien to be paid off. Typically, the buyer pays the attorney for document preparation relating to the new loan. But, as I said before, it is all negotiable.
