Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
If my Aunt passed and did not havetime to leave a will but verbally willed me her house -- is there anything I can do now. Can I stake a claim againt the house, legally. Crazy, Huh? Though I think when I purchased my houses, I bought some kind of insurance preventing that from happening to me as a homeowner, except I can't remember what it is called? Thanks..

Wills must be in writing and properly executed. However, if all of the beneficiaries agree that you may have the house, you can. Otherwise, all of the beneficiaries by law divide up the total estate.
