Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

bought a house, the driveway is going through the corner of the neighbor's lot. the neighbor doesn't have any buildings on lot. The neighbor locked the gate and posted keep out sign. Is there anything I could do?

There is nothing you can do with regard to your neighbor's actions. After all, you neighbor is simply protecting his right to his property. If you were to let you use the driveway across his land, after a while, the law says you own that land and he can't let that happen.

If when you purchased the house, you obtained owner's title insurance (if you have a loan, the lender likely required you to purchase one for the lender too), then you can try and file a claim against the title insurance company.
