the break

my brother and his girlfriend recently and foolishly perchased a house toghther,a few months into it they had a big fight and my brother left.my question is how can he get his name off the deed?she is primary he's secondary.

You used the perfect word to discuss the situation where girlfriend and boyfriend buy a house together -- foolish. To answer your question, it is easy for him to get off the DEED. He just need to sign a deed transferring the property back to her. However, I suspect you mean to ask how he gets off the NOTE (ie, the debt secured by the house). They can either sell the house, or refinance the debt solely in her name, but either way the debt will need to be paid. "Primary" or "Secondary" means little, if he is liable for the Note.
