Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
How broad do the convenants go
I own a quad building among 8 other buildings in the same community. they wish to have all the buildings painted, but are using an unlicensed uninsured contractor, I have resisted but the president of the HOA says I have to go along because it is in the covenant that I agree to upkeep and split maintenance costs.

I'm not sure what you are asking, but it would depend on the language of the covenants.

Re: How broad do the convenants go
I represent a lot of HOA's, so I am familiar with this law. However, I can't give you much dependable advice based on the facts you have submitted. You should consult with a local attorney who can review the applicable documents.
