out building across property line

i am pruchasing a house that has out buildings on it .about 4 feet of the building is across the propety line , it has been there for over 15 years . can the property owner make me move it when i buy the house? is there some staute of limatations ?

This is tricky. It depends on things that can't be fully addressed here. Does the owner of the other property know about the intrusion. You need to sit down with a local attorney.
