Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Case Description My ex father in law purchased the house in 2004 and we entered into a mortgage agreement and I paid him $30,000 down and paid the mortgage for two years until the company we had started failed and I was unable to pay the mortgage payments. He then told me not to worry about the mortgage as "he and his wife were going to give it to me anyway". Then he wanted me to give him two lots on the topside of the property and we would be even on the mortgage. After having the survey of the property and the two lots cut out he changed his mind again and told me not to worry about it. Now 8 years later he is threatening foreclosure or we make a new deal where I pay him rent. I have been unemployed for over a year and have no resources to pay him. He also told me in writing that he wanted to use what I owe him to settle his daughters back child support, which she is 16 years behind. Actually has never paid a dime in child support. Now that my son turned 18 it seems he is trying to get me out, What can I do??????

You've told us everything except the ONLY thing that matters. What exactly do the papers say? Since no one can answer you without reading them, do what you should have done a while ago, and get counsel. This will go very badly for you without a lawyer.
