the church across the street put up a light kinda like orange it lights up my yard and shines into my house its irritating, I asked them please turn it another way then called the power company, also had police come out an look how it shines into my house, all they said was take some pics, nothing I take shows how bad it shines into the house, what can I do?

You have the option to file a civil claim based on a nuisance - light pollution. Have a local attorney send them a demand letter and see if they will take it down. Otherwise, you will have to file a law suit.
