Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
I am in college and renting a house with 4 others girls. We recently decided to renew our lease and all went to the real estate office to resign the lease. All 5 of us signed but also had to have the signatures of our parents on the agreement as well. Three of the 5 girls submitted their parents signed copies and me and one of my others roommates have not done so yet. We no longer want to live here next year and were wondering if the lease is only binding if all 10 of us (students and parents) sign the lease or if it binding just for the girls whose parents also signed the lease or for all of us since we all personally signed the lease. Please help!

When you sign you are bound by it.
In addition, no one here knows what you signed so there is no way to tell you what agreement you or anyone else agreed to. For the rest of your life you will need to understand that your signature means something and the exact terms of a contract mean something.
