Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

My condo lost a package they signed for

I live in a high-rise condo. The front

desk is the destination for all

packages and then the procedure is

that the resident has to come and

pick the package up. In this

situation, the front desk admits to

signing for the package and UPS also

verifies this. However, when I went

to pick my package up, the front

desk said it had been lost or maybe

stolen. Do I have any legal remedies

for this situation? They refuse to

reimburse me for the value of the

package (purchase from an online

store). thanks

Your best bet is probably to file a claim in magistrate (small claims) court. Make sure to take all documentation with you.
