Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

I own a condo that sits atop a basement storage area that is used by the grounds keepers as a storage area and is not available for use by the residents. The kitchen floor of the condo has buckled due to an adjacent unit that had a water leak that caused the joist between the 2 units. Due to the condo association bylaws of outlining the owners and associations role of responsibility, is it not the responsibility of the association to repair any structural damage to a condo? We pay association dues that a portion should be used to pay the policy that insures the unit.

Thank You

It appears you are asking us what the by-laws (or other relevant documents state). We do not have the documents, and you say nothing about what they provide, You need to read the documents.

You are asking people who have never read a document which you have read to tell you what the documents say. As much as I'd like to help, I can't without reading the documents.

Have you filed a claim with the insurer and what did they say?
