Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Damage caused by adjacent property

My home suffered rain water damage at the foundation level, caused by the adjacent property's improperly maintained and poorly designed rain water drainage system. Built up hydrostatic pressure forced water into my house, damaging carpet, etc. What recourse do I have?

Re: Damage caused by adjacent property

If your neighbor CHANGED the water flow, he can be liable. However, each case has to be examined because no two cases are alike. Consult with a locl attorney.
