Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

We had a dead tree fall on our neighbors storage building that was falling in already and damaged the corner of their house we agreed to buy the supplies they needed to repair it and they said they'd do the repairs and they'd dispose of the tree they fixed the house but not the building they have the supplies but they're demanding more they want more plywood money for debris disposal what should we do???

If you were aware that the tree was diseased or decayed and in danger of falling, and did nothing about it, they could sue you for the full cost of repairing their property to its original condition. If they are letting you off with anything less than that, you don't have a legal issue.
