Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
I am dealing with a situation in which a real estate leasing company has advertised a house for rent, listing that it has four bedrooms. My son and other roommates signed a lease for the house only later to find that it does not have four bedrooms. I understand that there are specific real estate rules that apply with regard to what can legally be listed as a bedroom when listing a property. It appears that the agent tried to represent that a dining room was a bedroom.

No one ever signs a lease without SEEING the property. A lease is a contract, so they likely are bound by the lease. The only possible way out is to show the lease to a lawyer and see if it has an out. I doubt it does but at this point spend the money to be sure.
