Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

deliquent property taxes

I bought a house and at the closing found out I had to pay the taxes owed from the previous owner, which I did. Now I am behind on last year's & this year's property taxes. I'm told I can't make payments...any suggestions...I don't want to lose my house.

Re: deliquent property taxes

Pay your property taxes. If you agreed to pay the seller's taxes, you are obligated for that and future taxes.
