Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
digging trees on boundary
the boudary to our property has trees planted right along the boarder. (50 + years ago).
i want to dig them up, which will involve using a ''tree spade''. i will fill the holes back in and rake the ground and plant grass seed.
my neighbor wants them for a privacy hedge, yet the trees are on my prop + they need to be thinned.
whose rights apply here?
thanks for all your help.
cordially,

If the trees are totally on your property, you can do whatever you want, as long as you don't do any damage to your neighbor's property.
