Divorce and the house

The house was awarded to me in the divorce by the court. My ex husband then proceeded to break the law and go on the run and cannot be found. I need to sell the house, but his name is still on the paperwork for the mortgage. Would I be able to sell?

Consult with a local attorney. The court can enter an order putting title into your name.

Not immediately, but the court can enforce its order and have title transferred to you. Your divorce attorney should be able to accomplish this.
