Divorce question about property
My husband is emotionally abusive twards me and calles me an idoit,he checks my milage on the car accuses me of cheationg when he has a long history of cheating hiself.I have left him before, got remarried. He went to my other husband, told him I was messing around on him.He busted up my marrige to get me back like an idoit I belived he loved me but not two months after we were remarried he was arrested for assulting a cashier trying to kiss on her. There was no reson for it.Now he is on probation he has done a whole lot worse than I have time to write down even protective services has been out to talk to him because I have three children like I said he is abusive and a cheater now my question is will I have to uproot my children because he ''decides'' me and the children away ''because of his cheating ways he has court papers showing his history of doing this to other women. He thinks marrige is a game my name is not on this property we have been married on and off for four years.I am tired of moving my children because of his trashy ways. It's not thier fault. They've come to know this as thier home.Is it possible that I keep this land even though my name is not on it. You have no idea of the abuse I have been though.

Re: Divorce question about property
All marital property is subject to an equitable division in a divorce. And all the aspects you mentioned would be considered by a judge to decide who gets what.

No doubt you are in a messy situation. It is almost impossible to give you reliable advice in this type of forum. You should consult with a local attorney.
